About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Smoky Lake Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Coordinate Housekeeping Activities: Plan and coordinate housekeeping activities to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any areas that require attention and implement measures to prevent future issues.
  • Manage Supplies and Equipment: Order and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure that the team has everything they need to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
