We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities at Slave Lake Accommodations LTD. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests experience a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within the housekeeping sector.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic setting that includes hotels, motels, and resorts.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and train cleaning personnel or coordinate training sessions.
- Supervise and manage the activities of cleaning staff.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 light duty cleaners.
Work Conditions- Ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
- Strong client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
