Senior Mechanical Process Engineer

FNX-INNOV is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Process Engineer to join our growing team of water treatment specialists.

In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and implementation of innovative water treatment solutions for a diverse range of projects.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the execution of complex water treatment projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Develop detailed plans and specifications for water treatment facilities, collaborating effectively with other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for wastewater treatment plants and water filtration stations, providing insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Serve as a technical expert, guiding clients through the intricacies of water resource regulations and permitting processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.

Requirements:

  • Registered Professional Engineer in good standing with the Quebec Order of Engineers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in water treatment engineering, including 5 years in a similar senior role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in water treatment technologies and processes, with a strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in French is essential; bilingualism (English) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in collaborative platforms and/or BIM software is highly desirable.
