About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D Engineering team in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our HD Hydro technology.

Your primary focus will be on creating detailed mechanical designs, analyzing systems, and working with suppliers to deliver high-quality hardware. With a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and experience with CAD software, you will be able to bring your ideas to life and contribute to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for our HD Hydro technology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring projects to life
  • Work with suppliers to source components and services
  • Contribute to the development of prototyping facilities and test systems
  • Participate in the creation of company processes and procedures
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
  • Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Siemens NX, CATIA, Inventor, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and industrial machining processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
