Job Title: Flin Flon Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Flin Flon Tutor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to reach their full potential.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work one-on-one with children, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention under the direction of our Autism Consultant and Senior Tutor. You will be responsible for collecting data and information regarding the child's progress, communicating with the child's family, and supporting the child to participate in daily activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver ABA intervention to assigned children under the direction of the Autism Consultant and Senior Tutor
  • Collect data and information regarding the child's progress
  • Communicate with child's family regarding the child's progress, care, and well-being
  • Support and assist child to participate in daily activities, self-care, and personal care when needed
  • Understand policies and procedures of the Autism Programs and those of the organization
  • Reports and documents high risk or potentially high risk situations according to St.Amant and Autism Programs policy
Requirements:
  • Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Prior Contact Check. New hires must also complete a series of Occupational Health checks, including confirmation of immunization or immunity of specific communicable diseases and proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date.
