Job Title: Flin Flon Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Flin Flon Tutor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to reach their full potential.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention to assigned children under the direction of the Autism Consultant and Senior Tutor. This will involve creating and implementing individualized learning plans, collecting data on progress, and communicating with families regarding their child's well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver ABA intervention to assigned children, including learning activities in all life areas
  • Attend team meetings and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies
  • Collect data and information regarding the child's progress and communicate with families
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure coordination and integrity of services
  • Support and assist children to participate in daily activities, self-care, and personal care when needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Prior Contact Check. New hires must also complete a series of Occupational Health checks, including confirmation of immunization or immunity of specific communicable diseases and proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date.
