Senior Leadership Position

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the work performance of management and frontline employees, ensuring the corporation meets its organizational objectives. This role works closely with the Board of Directors and its committees to further the organization's mandate and vision.
Key Responsibilities- Minimum of ten years' experience in a senior leadership position in a not-for-profit or for-profit organization.
- Strong working knowledge of fiscal management, including budget creation and review, business finance, capital funding, contracts, and partnerships.
- Proven managerial and supervisory capabilities in a unionized environment, with negotiation and investigation skills.
- Sound working knowledge of human resource policies and procedures, as well as federal and provincial legislation applicable to non-profit organizations.
- Experience working with Indigenous people in a hospitality care setting as a supervisor is considered an asset.
- Fluency in Ojibway, Oji-Cree, or Cree is an asset.
