About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RF Product Line Engineer to join our team at Evertz Microsystems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and verification of our RF product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional and Design Verification Testing: Conduct thorough testing and verification of our RF product line to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Test Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of prototype electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Test Result Recording and Reporting: Record and report test results in a clear and concise manner, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Procedure Development and Documentation: Create documented procedures and processes related to testing products for use in production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Project Involvement and Issue/Deliverable Tracking: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and delivery of high-quality products.
  • RF Proposal Development: Assist with the development of RF-related proposals, providing cost-effective and innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Customer Support and Travel: Provide exceptional customer support, including travel to customer sites regionally and overseas to conduct demos and customer meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer/Networking Engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Skills: Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, ability to read technical drawings and schematics, strong manual dexterity, and experience working with test measuring tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Passion for learning new technology, software, and hardware, exceptional organizational, planning, time management, and interpersonal skills.
