Job Summary

NCS Managed Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Network and Equipment Repair: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment, diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Network Testing and Analysis: Analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Customer Service: Complete and maintain test and service reports, determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, and operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills: Basic security clearance, criminal record check, drug test, driver's validity license check, valid driver's license, own transportation, vehicle supplied by employer, and willingness to travel.
