NCS Managed Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment, and analyze test results to adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment and software.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including on-site customer service, and complete and maintain test and service reports.
- Physical Demands: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and physically demanding work conditions.
- Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, and dependable.
