Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transition Planner to join our team at Raymond James Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition for new Financial Advisors and Agents joining our firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the National Sales team in transitioning Financial Advisors/Agents to Raymond James Ltd.
  • Customize transition requirements to meet the unique needs of each Financial Advisor/Agent.
  • Maintain open communication with transitioning Financial Advisors/Agents and their support staff.
  • Provide education and support on our policies and procedures, including operations, compliance, marketing, technology, investment products, and general business issues.
  • Offer remote or onsite branch support as needed.
  • Manage weekly transition calls/meetings with Financial Advisors/Agents and their teams.
  • Participate in internal projects and contribute to the continuous evolution of our firm.

Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in French an asset.
  • Previous experience with Dataphile an asset.

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • 3 or more years' experience in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services Industry.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Investment Representative licensing.
  • Completion of both Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook Course (CPH).

Travel

  • Willingness to travel within Canada up to 40% of the time.
