Electrical Installation Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at OZZ Electric BC. As a key member on the tools, you will be responsible for installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specifications.
Responsibilities
- Installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specifications
- Connecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Terminating wiring in generators, transfer switches, and junction devices
- Observing functions of installed equipment to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
- Testing continuity of circuits to ensure integrity and safety
Requirements
- Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal an asset)
- Experience working on high-rise and/or commercial new construction projects
- Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Field Safety Representative ticket is an asset
Working Conditions
- Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Typical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlines
- Local work in the lower mainland
