Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set up, repair, and maintain medication/treatment carts, fax machines, and other pharmacy-provided equipment/supplies with applicable documentation.
- Troubleshoot and record service calls over the phone.
- Sourcing/ordering and tracking parts required for ongoing equipment/supply maintenance when required.
- Follow up with parts/equipment sent to the homes.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of homes.
- Pre-stage equipment such as fax machines, fridges, medication carts, etc.
- Installation of equipment into facilities.
- Local deliveries and pickups.
- Reconditioning and storing equipment/supplies for future use.
- Miscellaneous support functions as required.
- Weekend and overnight work required for on-call support.
What You Bring to the Team
- Maintain a good driving record and be able to respond to service calls within Ontario when required.
- Be available to attend emergency calls outside of regular working hours.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and be able to troubleshoot.
- Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with other team members.
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and be able to interact with others in a professional manner.
- Skilled in critical thought processes and be able to prioritize appropriately.
- Be self-directed, requiring minimal supervision, and able to work independently.
- Motivated to achieve results that reflect a high standard of quality.
- Demonstrate good listening skills and be adaptable to changes in the job environment.
- Be dependable and responsible in the execution of job duties.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office programs.
