**Job Summary**

The Executive Director is a key leadership position responsible for the direction and management of the corporation. As a member of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will oversee the strategic planning, budgeting, and implementation of programs and services.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Supervise a team of business development officers and administrators

• Develop and implement business strategies to promote economic growth in Cumberland County

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and local businesses

• Manage budgets, financial reports, and other administrative tasks

• Represent CBDC at meetings and conferences, promoting the organization's mission and goals

**Requirements**

• Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field

• Minimum of five years' experience in managerial and leadership positions

• Strong financial background, including knowledge of small business profiles and economic development in rural communities

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
