Qualifications:

  • Senior Management Experience: 10+ years' operational experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment would be considered a strong asset.
  • Unionized Environment: Proven ability to lead and manage a multi-functional team in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Problem-Solving and Strategic Analysis: Effective problem-solving, strategic analysis, planning, and implementation skills.
  • IT Systems: Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage IT systems to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence at the executive level to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Quality, Safety, and Customer Service: Unwavering commitment to Quality, Safety and Customer Service objectives.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Canadian Controlled Goods Program: Must be eligible to meet the requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
