Job Summary

Pacific Community Resources Society is seeking a skilled Youth Outreach Substance Use Counsellor to join our team. As a Counsellor, you will work with youth to provide support and guidance in overcoming substance use challenges.

About the Role

This is a Term Full Time position with a Grid 13 ($29.96 - $31.24/hour) salary. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing Term Length: One Year of service to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counselling services to youth
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support youth in overcoming substance use challenges
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide comprehensive support services
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify youth needs and develop strategies for support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A degree in a related field, such as social work or counsellingExperience working with youth and substance use issuesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
