Job Summary

Eassons Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination, including performing brake adjustments and inspecting tires, lights, and other equipment
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Professional Driver Improvement Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a tractor-trailer driver
  • Valid passport
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
