Heavy Truck Repair Technician

We are a dynamic transportation company seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Repair Technician to join our team.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
Job DescriptionWe require a qualified individual to perform a variety of tasks including:
- Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions;
- Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required;
- Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts;
- Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensuring that work meets manufacturers' specifications;
- Performing repair work on heavy trucks;
- Servicing attachments and working tools;
- Verifying and repairing emission control systems;
- Assisting process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years;
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years; or equivalent experience;
- A strong understanding of diesel mechanics and troubleshooting techniques.
