Job Title: Executive Chef Operations Manager

Are you a seasoned administrator with a passion for culinary operations? Do you have a proven track record of building strong teams and managing complex logistics? We're seeking an Executive Chef Operations Manager to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef Operations Manager will work closely with our culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including staffing, training, and payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement workforce plans to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Conduct department interviews and recruit new team members
  • Ensure all employees receive comprehensive training and support
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration
  • Procure and manage inventory of uniforms and stationery
  • Adhere to and enforce ALLSAFE health and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role or as an administrator in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of culinary operations and food safety protocols
  • Previous payroll administration experience an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management an asset
