Lead Indigenous Reconciliation Strategist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as a Lead Indigenous Reconciliation Strategist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting reconciliation and cultural safety in pharmacy regulation.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for an Indigenous person with ties to Indigenous communities to make a meaningful impact in the field of pharmacy regulation. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote reconciliation, cultural safety, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all aspects of our work.
Key Responsibilities- Co-lead the development and implementation of EDI strategies and initiatives across the organization
- Provide expertise and guidance on Indigenous cultural safety and humility (ICSH) to ensure its integration into all aspects of our work
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address systemic barriers and discrimination in pharmacy regulation
- Develop and lead educational programs and training sessions to build capacity and awareness among staff, board members, and committees on ICSH, EDI, and reconciliation
- Partner with external organizations to advance reconciliation and EDI in the healthcare system
The salary for this position is $140,000 - $155,000 per year, based on a 35-hour work week. Our organization offers a competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
