About This Opportunity

The team at CAE is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the life-cycle of training programs and courseware content. This role requires a strong project management background, with a focus on ensuring compliance, innovation, and perpetual improvement based on business unit and corporate needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of market needs and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on internal and external proposals
  • Contribute to the courseware roadmap
  • Manage projects for the development of civil courseware material for the aviation industry
  • Work with diverse project teams to design and deliver global training course material
  • Manage human, financial, and operational resources to meet contractual and company obligations
  • Own the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure
  • Maintain and communicate project status reports and plans
  • Provide reporting throughout the project life cycle

Leadership and Qualifications

  • Act as primary liaison with customers on project matters
  • Discuss alternative solutions with customers
  • Deliver results that achieve lasting satisfaction with customers and financial goals
  • Recommend and participate in improvement initiatives
  • Ability to resolve difficult, complex, or unusual matters or decisions
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior Project Managers
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years' project management experience, with aviation project management experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Experience working with global and multi-cultural teams
  • Experience developing strong customer relationships and managing customer expectations
