Job Summary

Wilride Transport Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the Auto Haulage division in its day-to-day operations. This role will be based in the office and will involve working closely with the team to ensure seamless logistics and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and input orders efficiently and accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with dispatch operations, including coordinating with drivers and managing transportation schedules
  • Generate and deliver accurate quotes for customers, taking into account their specific needs and requirements
  • Compile and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in data entry and analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, with proficiency in French being an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the general trucking industry, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles
