Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Terra International Foods. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Credit Management
  • Update and manage customer credit information to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Review and approve credit applications to minimize risk and ensure compliance with company policies.
  1. Payment Processing
  • Arrange payment options with customers to ensure timely payment and minimize outstanding balances.
  • Review, verify, and process credit notes to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  1. Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and analyze A/R reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Track customer bill back and match to annual budgets to ensure accurate forecasting.
  1. Documentation and Compliance
  • Prepare documentation for manufacturer charge backs on customer bill backs to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare deposits for bank to ensure timely and accurate payment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience as an A/R Clerk or in a related financial role.
  • Numerical keyboarding skills with high accuracy.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Positive can-do attitude and proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday schedule with occasional overtime as needed.
  • On-site parking and access to company events and benefits.
