About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at FREEWAY TRUCK REPAIR & TIRE SHOP LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
