Truck Recovery Specialist

CITY TIRE LTD is seeking a skilled Truck Recovery Specialist to join our team. This role involves safely recovering and towing vehicles in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
- Relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
- Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, manual transmission driving skills, and willingness to travel overnight.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, reliable, hardworking, and patient. They should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
SalaryWe are offering a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
