About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at NPC NORTHLAND BUILDERS INC. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Requirements:

- 5 years or more of experience in the field
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and reliably
- Team player with a strong work ethic
