About the Role

Syntegon Technology, a leading supplier in process and packaging technology, invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering Manager. This role is instrumental in shaping the company's success in the world's packaging machinery market.


Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers, focusing on process excellence and technical guidance. Key tasks include:

  • Providing clear objectives and guidance to the engineering team.
  • Implementing a culture of empowerment and accountability.
  • Empathic and team-oriented leadership, ensuring performance and quality of engineering designs.
  • Scheduling and prioritizing team tasks and resources to meet sales orders, customer service requests, and improvement projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in automated packaging or similar capital equipment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • At least 6-8+ years of work experience in an Engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience supervising or managing a team of engineers.
