Job Summary:

Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal Assistant to join its team. As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and play a critical role in the success of our corporate law practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, edit, and finalize a variety of transactional documents related to corporate reorganizations, share/asset purchase and sale transactions.
  • Create signature packages for closings and ensure timely delivery of closing documents.
  • Organize and track delivery of closing documents, as well as assist with all administrative aspects of corporate transactions and post-closing matters.
  • Produce high volumes of quality work under tight deadlines, with a focus on accuracy and quick turnaround time.
  • Handle all administrative details related to accounting, expenses, wires, opening and closing files, docketing, billing, and e-filing.
  • Ensure all e-filing is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Draft letter and email correspondence to forward incoming mail to clients.
  • Communicate professionally with all external clients.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of applications, including experience with creating, numbering, styling, and rebuilding documents.
  • Familiarity with iManage, Aderant, CorpLink, and DocuSign.
  • A strong sense of pride and responsibility for your work.
  • Flexibility and a team player attitude, with a focus on client service.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities.
