About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at 2360062 ALBERTA LTD. as a Short Haul Truck Driver.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Record and Maintain Logs: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is always in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience: Experience as a Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Willing to travel for extended periods and work in various locations.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
