Job Summary

Riteway Truck Wash Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods with precision, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Security and Safety: Valid passport and driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, with regular sitting required.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, hard work, and a permanent work term.
