Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Riteway Truck Wash Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, taking care to secure them properly for transport.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transport.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Valid Documents: Valid passport and driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with regular sitting required.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, hard work, and a permanent work term.
Work Environment:

40 hours per week, with a focus on safe and efficient transportation of goods.
