In the heart of our culinary team at Magna Golf Club, we seek an accomplished Cook to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient operations.
- Prepare food order summaries for our chef, facilitating seamless communication and service.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cooking, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices, with a focus on preventing cross-contamination and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent bending and lifting of heavy loads.
- Exposed to a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards.
