Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bill's Breakfast Bistro. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to meet business objectives
    • Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon to improve the overall dining experience
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
    • Provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for diverse staff members
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage staff schedules and time-off requests
    • Maintain accurate records and reports to support business decision-making
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service or restaurant management role is an asset
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required
