Restaurant Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Westside Pizza & Family Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help them improve their performance.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Staff Management: Hire and manage our food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and making recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, and that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that they are presented in a clean and attractive manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
