Rehabilitation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our team at Windsor Court Retirement Residence (2020) Ltd.
Job Summary:The Rehabilitation Aide will work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assist patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out treatment programs, documenting patient progress, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and rehabilitation programs
- Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists
- Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records
- Clean and maintain equipment and supplies
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
- Experience in a healthcare setting an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependability and ability to work independently
The Rehabilitation Aide will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to patients in a chronic or long-term care facility. The successful candidate will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness.
