Rehabilitation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our team at Windsor Court Retirement Residence (2020) Ltd.
Job Summary:The Rehabilitation Aide will work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assist patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out treatment programs, documenting patient progress, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and rehabilitation programs
- Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Clean and maintain equipment and supplies
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Kinesiology or human kinetics degree
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The Rehabilitation Aide will work in a chronic or long-term care facility, assisting patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
