Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
- Staff Management
- Set staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Marketing and Promotion
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and increase sales.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records and balance cash.
