Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at KMC Mining Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Overtime required
