At Aviva, we're seeking a skilled Finance MI Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering MI reports and QLIK dashboards to support finance and MI reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
  • Utilize SmartView for Excel-based reporting and data analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Transform finance and operational information into management information analytics.
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
  • Develop and improve management reports by efficiently leveraging system capabilities and minimizing runtime.
  • Ensure internal controls and quality measures are in place to maintain report quality.
  • Deliver MI reports consistently, timely, and accurately to business collaborators and finance business partners.

Requirements:

  • Accounting designation (CGA, CMA, or CA) or equivalent.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Math, Finance/Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in reporting and analysis roles with a focus on SmartView and Qlik Sense.
  • Strong working knowledge in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL scripting skills will be a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt to change, be highly adaptable and flexible, decisive, and display excellent judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
  • Effectively works within a matrix and sophisticated environment.
