Senior Financial Analyst, MI Reporting

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in designing and delivering MI reports and QLIK dashboards to support finance and MI reporting needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply SmartView for Excel-based reporting and data analysis, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Transform finance and operational information into management information analytics.
  • Ensure internal controls and quality measures are in place to maintain report quality.
  • Consistently and accurately provide MI reports to collaborators in the business and finance departments.
  • Build and deliver Finance MI reports in Qlik Sense and Excel-based SmartView.
  • Ensure Finance MI initiatives are delivered on time.
  • Maintain a seamless reporting process to meet the customer needs in finance management information.
  • Implement governance and control on new report creation.
  • Serve as a key tester on various internal and external projects.

About You:

  • Designated accounting professional (CPA or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations or management reporting with proven experience in managing customer expectations.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools is essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with relational databases and data visualization tools is a strong asset.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and drill down to the General Ledger level to ensure accuracy.
  • Experience with using ERP general ledger is an asset.
  • High level of accuracy in reporting and analysis, ensuring internal controls and quality measures are in place.
