Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Gerhard Buchner Private Household.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the household are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures to prevent infection and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for housekeeping operations.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that housekeeping operations run smoothly.
  • Coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure that linens and uniforms are clean and available when needed.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the household are maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
