Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Gerhard Buchner Private Household.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our household, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This includes supervising a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating maintenance and repair services, and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services, including scheduling and overseeing repairs and maintenance work.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good condition.
  • Coordinate in-house laundry services, ensuring that all laundry is completed to a high standard.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Dependability, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment, with staff accommodation available. The work setting is a private residence, and the candidate will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
