Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Gerhard Buchner Private Household.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the household. This includes supervising a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating maintenance and repair services, and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement operational procedures to prevent infection in special situations and outbreaks.
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies, maintaining inventory and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring adequate stock levels and quality standards.
  • Co-ordinate in-house laundry services, ensuring timely and efficient processing of laundry.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
