About the Role

Vancity Labour Supply Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize warehouse operations.

Task Organization and Coordination

Organize tasks to accomplish work efficiently and effectively, and coordinate activities with other work units or departments as needed.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit regular reports to management on warehouse operations, including metrics on productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Problem-Solving and Technical Advice

Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Training and Development

Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.

Work Coordination and Requisition

Coordinate, assign, and review work, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or operations role.

Language

English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
