The Amazon Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our people. As a critical part of this effort, we are seeking an experienced Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join our team in Ontario.

This role will involve working closely with WHS site managers, specialists, and other team members to provide medical support and guidance to Amazon associates. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as needed
  • Minimizing associate risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement
  • Maintaining records of care provided to associates
  • Coordinating workers' compensation and return to work programs for associates with work-related injuries
  • Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid card evidencing successful completion of standard first aid with CPR/AED level A or C from a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) approved certifying authority
  • One of the following certifications: Provincial Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), or Military Medical Technician (Canadian Armed Forces)

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and certification in first aid, CPR, and AED.
