Job Title: Room Attendant

Join our team at Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, Canada, as a Room Attendant. This role is part of our Housekeeping department, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, public spaces, and amenities, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Restock supplies, linens, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Participate in deep cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Physical Aspects of the Position:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
