Job Title: Guest Service Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Comfort Inn Charlottetown.

Job Summary:

The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. This includes registering arriving guests, assigning rooms, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, including room assignments and billing.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as local attractions and points of interest.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of room assignments, reservations, and guest information.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including first aid and fire evacuation protocols.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing guest information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
