Nurse Practitioner

Northern Health Authority is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide flexible, community-based ACT services designed to promote stability, recovery, and community integration for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a primary caseload of 8 to 10 clients and coordinate ACT services for all clients on the team.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
• Two (2) years related experience in the mental health field within the last five years. Will consider equivalent combination of experience.
Skills and Abilities
• Ability to teach individuals and groups or family members.
• Computer skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and counseling skills with individuals and groups.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Class V Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Travel is a requirement of this position.
