Job Summary
Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Dunrovin Park Lodge, a complex care facility with 117 beds located in Quesnel. As a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
- This position offers an attractive salary of $32.84 - $44.96 per hour, effective April 1, 2024
- You will work within a client and family-centered care model, adhering to the standards, scope, and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- The successful candidate will have one year of recent experience in acute care or residential settings and be registered with BCCNM as a practicing LPN registrant
- Responsibilities include applying nursing process, performing assessments, planning, providing nursing care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
- You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment

Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to assign care and share knowledge with the multidisciplinary team, clients, and families
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications
Working Conditions
You will work in a fast-paced environment, rotating shifts between days and nights, and be required to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
