Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the GR Baker Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Nursing Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
• Ability to physically perform the duties of the job and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form and operate related equipment.
